The CONNX for Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) module provides secure, real-time, read/write access to Amazon RDS DB Instances (which include MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL) data sources in the AWS cloud. In conjunction with other CONNX modules, you can perform seamless joins between Amazon RDS and any other supported on-premise database. For organizations that need cloud to cloud movement, we offer the ability to replicate and move data from Amazon RDS to Amazon RDS.
With CONNX for Amazon RDS, a single metadata model can be created that spans all enterprise data sources and applications requiring data access. The result is an enterprise-wide view of data that provides a reusable, standards-based framework for information access.
CONNX for Amazon RDS supports the creation of views, which facilitates hiding table relationships from the end user. CONNX views facilitates the creation of heterogeneous joins between multiple disparate databases.
In conjunction with CONNX Data Sync, Amazon RDS data can be synced with on-premise data, or vice versa. Additionally, DataSync facilitates replicating data between two or more Amazon RDS data sources.
